Launch of the book 'Van Anh - Anthology of Poems'
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 24th, Nghe An Publishing House, in coordination with the Nghe An Union of Literature and Arts Associations and the Vietnam Writers Association branch in Nghe An, organized the launch and introduction ceremony for the book "Van Anh - Anthology of Poems" by poet Van Anh.
Attending the ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc; representatives of provincial departments, boards, and units; friends, artists, and family of poet Van Anh.
Poet Vân Anh is a member of the Vietnam Writers Association, Vice-Chair of the Vietnam Writers Association branch in Nghe An, and Head of the Nghe An Women's Club for Literature and Arts.
With over 50 years of experience in the field of literature and art, author Van Anh has been awarded 12 prestigious literary prizes, including: the Vietnam Writers Association Award, the National Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literary and Artistic Associations Award, the Ho Xuan Huong Award from the Provincial People's Committee, etc.
As the Vice-Chairperson of the Vietnam Writers Association branch in Nghe An, and the Head of the Women's Club for Literature and Art, poet Van Anh is always enthusiastic, dynamic, and creative, working with the leadership of the branch and the club to create many vibrant and effective activities, and publish many valuable literary works…
The book "Van Anh - Anthology of Poems" was published by Nghe An Publishing House in 2023. This book was commissioned by the Provincial People's Committee to honor artists and writers who have made significant contributions to literature and art, as well as to spread the artistic values of poetry and the positive values of life to a wider audience.
The book "Van Anh - Anthology of Poems," a 400-page volume, is elegantly printed and features 200 representative poems from the poetic journey of the female poet Van Anh. In addition, the book compiles critical studies by renowned poets and researchers such as: Poet Nguyen Quang Thieu - President of the Vietnam Writers Association; Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Tri Dung - Head of the Vietnam Writers Association branch in Nghe An; poets Thach Quy, Le Quoc Han, Nguyen Van Hung, and others.
At the launch ceremony, literary researchers and critics, poets, and poetry lovers expressed their appreciation for the content and expressive value of the book "Van Anh - Anthology of Poems," as well as the contributions of poet Van Anh to literary and artistic creation.
