Solar-powered aircraft launched
The plane, which runs entirely on solar energy, has a wingspan of 35m, weighs only 150kg and is still being completed in the UK.

Named Phasa-35, the drone is unmanned and capable of operating for a year without maintenance.
The plane's creators say it could be used for both civilian and military purposes, providing surveillance or communications services in remote areas year-round at low cost.
Solar-powered drones are being touted as a much cheaper solution than using satellites as they are today.
