Launching the 'Cultural and Safe River Section' model.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 25th, the Waterway Police Department of the Provincial Police, in coordination with Quynh Phuong ward (Hoang Mai town), launched the "Cultural and Safe River Section" model.

The construction of the "Cultural and Safe River Section" model aims to promote the dissemination of laws, inland waterway traffic regulations, and guiding documents from relevant levels and sectors.

This aims to raise awareness and responsibility among officials and the general public in ensuring inland waterway traffic safety, contributing to preventing and minimizing traffic accidents, and combating crimes that exploit waterways for operation.

This section of the river is approximately 3 km long, 500-700 m wide, and 5-10 m deep. It is the final stretch of the Hoang Mai River, flowing through the Quynh Lap and Quynh Phuong wards. It is located near two fishing ports and sees a high volume of daily fishing activity.

At the launch event, the Waterway Police Department of the Provincial Public Security presented life vests and distributed leaflets on the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic to fishermen in Quynh Phuong ward.
