Launching the Military Court of the 4th Military Region

On the afternoon of May 29th, the Supreme People's Court held a ceremony to launch the Military Court of Military Region 4 in Vinh City, Nghe An province; presented appointment decisions to officials and awarded the "For the Cause of the Judiciary" commemorative medal.

The ceremony was attended by Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, and other leaders of the Military Region's agencies, representatives of the People's Court of Nghe An province, etc.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Assembly and the Decision of the General Staff, the Military Court of Military Region 4 was established on the basis of merging the Military Court of Region 1 and the Military Court of Region 2.

The merger of regional military courts is a concrete implementation of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies on reforming and reorganizing the political system in general, and the People's Court system, including the Military Courts, in particular, ensuring a streamlined, effective, and efficient operation; at the same time, it serves as a basis for the Military Court system to effectively implement judicial reform requirements.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Duong Van Thang and Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan congratulated the comrades who were awarded the "For the Cause of the Judiciary" commemorative medal, as well as those who received appointment decisions to positions as officers of the Military Court of Military Region 4.

The comrades requested that the two comrades who received the appointment decisions (Chief Judge and Deputy Chief Judge of the Regional Military Court) immediately carry out several tasks: Advise the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Military Region Command, and the Military Region Political Department on performing their functions in combating violations and crimes, in disseminating and educating on the law, and in advising on resolving legal-related cases within the military region.

Perform judicial duties well, ensuring that 100% of cases are tried fairly, with the right person being charged with the right crime, in accordance with the law, without wrongful convictions or allowing criminals to escape justice.
