Nghe An launches the digital trade union application.
On November 21st, the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor launched the "Nghe An Digital Trade Union" application and organized a workshop to provide feedback on the draft Political Report of the 14th National Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, marking a new step forward in digital transformation and improving the quality of trade union activities.
Attending the program were Comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor. Also present were representatives from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; and relevant departments and agencies.
In the context of comprehensive digital transformation in line with Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, trade unions must innovate even more strongly to improve management capacity, enhance service quality, and support workers in improving their digital skills to meet the demands of the 4.0 era.
Based on that need, the Provincial Labor Union developed and launched the "Nghe An Digital Labor Union" application, a comprehensive digital platform that helps labor unions reach their members faster, more closely, and more effectively. The application supports transparent membership management; provides convenient labor union services; and creates a two-way interaction channel, allowing workers to provide feedback, suggestions, and receive timely support. Through the application, members can monitor policies, regulations, and welfare activities anytime, anywhere; while the labor union organization becomes closer and more substantive.
The launch of the application affirms the determination of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union in building a smart, flexible, connected, and worker-centered trade union model. This is also an important step to enhance the effectiveness of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members in the new context.
Alongside the application launch ceremony, a workshop to gather feedback on the draft Political Report of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union was held in a spirit of democracy and responsibility. The feedback focused on the orientation for building a modern working class, enhancing the effectiveness of trade union activities, and strengthening the confidence of union members in the new development phase.
With the spirit of "Innovation to lead - Digital transformation to break through - Focusing on union members for sustainable development," the event has created new momentum for the Nghe An trade union system in its journey of innovation and accompanying workers.
