(Baonghean.vn) - Lack of management by the authorities and relevant agencies, coupled with a lack of awareness among the people, has resulted in the Cam Bridge, spanning the Bien Hoa canal and connecting three hamlets of Vien Thanh commune with provincial road 534 passing through Long Thanh commune, being overflowing with all kinds of waste and emitting a strong, foul odor.

The Cam Bridge, built with an investment of over 1 billion VND, has become a garbage dumping site.

Cam Bridge is an important transportation hub, connecting Vien Thanh commune with provincial road 534. The bridge was built with an investment of over 1 billion VND, along with the Yen Thanh district's flood bypass project, facilitating trade, travel, and shortening the distance to the district center for residents of hamlets 1, 2, and 3 of Vien Thanh commune.

All kinds of garbage were piled up, emitting a strong, foul odor.

However, after nearly 5 years of use, both ends of the bridge are overflowing with trash. In particular, the bridge's approach and approach on the Provincial Road 534 side have now become an impromptu garbage dump.

Many irresponsible residents take advantage of sunset or nighttime to litter indiscriminately. All kinds of garbage accumulate here, emitting a strong, foul odor and polluting the environment. When it rains, the garbage even spills into the river, contaminating the water source.

Mặc dù có biển cấm đổ rác, nhưng rác vẫn chất ngày càng đầy, có cả rác thải xây dựng
Despite the "no littering" signs, the trash continues to pile up, including construction waste.

Despite the Long Thanh commune authorities posting "no littering" signs, the situation persists, and the amount of trash is actually increasing.

The images are offensive and disrupt traffic for residents.

Even more serious problems have arisen, with piles of construction waste and debris encroaching on the walkway. We urge the relevant authorities and government agencies to take strong measures to prevent and address this situation, restoring the aesthetics and value of this multi-million dollar bridge.
