A representative from the Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company stated: "Every year, the amount of waste generated during Tet (Lunar New Year) increases 3-4 times compared to normal days, peaking from the 20th day of the 12th lunar month to the 15th day of the 1st lunar month. While Vinh City typically generates 250-300 tons of waste per day, this figure rises to 900-1,000 tons during Tet. Workers have to operate at 100% capacity to ensure a clean environment during the holiday." (Photo: QA)
