This British two-door SUV can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds, is limited to 999 units, and has a starting price of $296,000 in the US market.

Following rumors earlier this year, Land Rover officially unveiled the Range Rover SV Coupe at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. This is a two-door variant of the Range Rover, created to pay homage to the brand's two-door SUVs from the 1970s.

The Range Rover SV Coupe was developed and built by Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division, with a limited production run of 999 units worldwide. All exterior modifications were hand-assembled by skilled engineers.

The first design changes include the front bumper and air vents behind the front wheel arches. The B-pillars and C-pillars are painted black, combined with the roofline that slopes downwards towards the rear, creating an overall sporty look.

The air suspension system is standard, lowering the ride height by 7.6 mm compared to the Range Rover. Drivers can adjust the ride height depending on the terrain using buttons in the cockpit. Wheel sizes range from 21 to 23 inches.

Compared to the standard Range Rover, the SV Coupe has 8 mm less ground clearance, but the Land Rover heritage remains. It can still wade through water up to 900 mm and has a maximum towing capacity of 3.5 tons. This is complemented by its four-wheel drive system with terrain selection and a rear differential lock.

Equipped with a 5.0L V8 turbocharged engine, delivering 557 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, the SV Coupe is the fastest Range Rover ever, excluding the Evoque, Sport, and Velar models. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds and has a top speed of 265 km/h.

The interior is not much different from the standard Range Rover, still featuring the InControl Touch Pro Duo system with two touchscreens, a head-up display, and a 23-speaker Meridian sound system. The wood trim is called Nautica, a combination of walnut and mulberry wood.

The seats are upholstered in premium leather with diamond-pattern stitching. Each car is handcrafted to the specifications of each customer. The rear seat layout remains two seats, as space is reserved for an armrest and climate control system.

The British automaker offers 100 color options, along with contrasting stitching, embroidered headrests, door handles, and metallic trim. The Range Rover SV Coupe is expected to go on sale from the fourth quarter of 2018 with a starting price of $333,000 in the UK market and $296,000 in the US market.
