Clean vegetables from Dien Chau will be sold in supermarkets.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 21st, Phu Dien APG Joint Stock Company, in coordination with the People's Committee of Dien Chau district, organized a workshop on linking production to consumption of clean and safe vegetables and fruits in 2015.

With the aim of creating a closed-loop model linking the government, scientists, farmers, and businesses to provide consumers with the cleanest and safest vegetables, in 2013, Dien Chau district directed Dien Thanh commune to build a model for vegetable production according to VietGAP standards on an area of ​​194 hectares, producing 3 crops per year with main crops such as watermelon, kohlrabi, cabbage, cauliflower, etc.

The workshop attracted a large number of participants.

However, the product's distribution still faces many difficulties because the market currently has many products of unclear origin. Therefore, clean vegetables from Dien Thanh have not yet reached consumers.

This workshop provides an opportunity for farmers and businesses to exchange ideas on related topics such as production organization and product distribution; the necessity of producing clean and safe vegetables; and the ethical considerations of clean vegetable producers.
