Real Madrid wins the FIFA Club World Cup for the fifth time.
By defeating Al-Hilal 5-3 in the final, Real Madrid, the Spanish royal club, has won the FIFA Club World Cup for the fifth time in its history.
Real Madrid became the champions of the FIFA Club World Cup 2023 after a resounding 5-3 victory over Al-Hilal in the final held in Morocco.
The attacking trio of Federico Valverde, Karim Benzema, and Vinicius Junior all scored to secure the victory for Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, Moussa Marega and Luciano Vietto of Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia) also scored in a spectacular football feast with a "goal shower."
With this title, Real Madrid has won the FIFA Club World Cup for the fifth time in its history.World Cup, having previously accomplished the same feat in 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018.
Real Madrid continues to lead the list of teams with the most league titles, ahead of their rivals Barcelona, who have won twice.
A notable highlight of the final was that Real Madrid started better, taking a 2-0 lead after 18 minutes thanks to goals from Junior and Valverde.
However, Al-Hilal quickly rekindled hopes of a surprise with a goal from Moussa Marega in the 26th minute, reducing the deficit to 1-2.

In the second half, the match continued to be exciting. Real Madrid, of course, still controlled the game better and added three more goals from Benzema, Valverde, and Junior.
Meanwhile, Al-Hilal only managed to score two more goals thanks to a brace from Luciano Vietto, ultimately accepting a 3-5 defeat.
Earlier, in the third-place match, Flamengo of Brazil staged a late surge to defeat Al-Ahly (Egypt) 4-2.
