Real Madrid won the FIFA Club World Cup for the fifth time
Defeating Al-Hilal in the final with a score of 5-3, the Spanish Royal team Real Madrid has won the FIFA Club World Cup for the 5th time in history.
Real Madrid have become champions of the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup after a resounding 5-3 victory over Al-Hilal in the final in Morocco.
The attacking trio of Federico Valverde, Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior scored together to bring victory to the White Vultures.
Meanwhile, Moussa Marega and Luciano Vietto of Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia) also scored in a football feast that was full of "goals."
With this title, Real Madrid has won the FIFA Club Championship for the 5th time in history.World Cup, after doing the same in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Real continues to lead the list of teams with the most championships in the tournament, 2 more than their rivals Barcelona, who are right behind them.
The notable highlight of the final was that Real was the better team to start the match before leading 2-0 after 18 minutes thanks to goals from Junior and Valverde.
However, Al-Hilal quickly rekindled hope of creating a surprise with Moussa Marega's goal to shorten the score to 1-2 in the 26th minute.

In the second half, the match continued to be exciting. Real Madrid of course still had the better control of the game and had 3 more goals from Benzema, Valverde and Junior.
Meanwhile, Al-Hilal only had 2 more goals thanks to a double from Luciano Vietto, thereby accepting a final defeat of 3-5.
Previously, in the third-place match, Brazil's Flamengo played explosively in the final minutes to beat Al-Ahly (Egypt) with a score of 4-2./.
