Redmi A7 Pro and POCO C81 revealed: 7-inch screen, 6000mAh battery.
Data from the IMEI database and FCC certification reveals that Xiaomi's new budget smartphone duo will have nearly 7-inch screens, a 6,000mAh battery, and a Unisoc chip.
Revelations from certification databases
Two upcoming budget smartphones from Xiaomi, the Redmi A7 Pro and POCO C81, have been spotted through international certification databases. Initial information suggests that both devices are focused on the mid-range segment, featuring large screens of nearly 7 inches and a 6,000 mAh battery.
Specifically, the Redmi A7 Pro with model number 25128RN17A and the POCO C81 with model number 25128RN17G have appeared in the GSMA IMEI database and been certified by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The similarity in model numbers suggests that these could be two versions of the same device, rebranded for release in different markets.

The configuration focuses on the screen and battery.
According to FCC documents, both the Redmi A7 Pro and POCO C81 will feature nearly 7-inch IPS LCD screens with the familiar "waterdrop" notch design. This size is aimed at optimizing the entertainment and multimedia viewing experience.

In terms of performance, the duo is expected to use the Unisoc T7250 processor, a chip manufactured on a 12nm process, coupled with a Mali-G57 GPU. Memory options include 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of eMMC internal storage.
The main highlight of these two products is their 6,000 mAh battery, promising extended usage time. Both support 15W charging via USB-C port. In terms of software, the devices will likely run Android 15, possibly the Go Edition optimized for low-end devices. Initial information also suggests that both will have only a single rear camera.
The appearance of the Redmi A7 Pro and POCO C81 shows Xiaomi's strategy of further strengthening its position in the budget smartphone segment, focusing on practical features such as large screens and long battery life to attract users.
