Renault Talisman - a new competitor to the Camry in Vietnam.

This D-segment sedan, equipped with numerous advanced features and technologies and a stylish exterior, is expected to be launched at VIMS 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Renault Talisman, a new name in the D-segment sedan market in Vietnam, is a French model that will compete with familiar names such as Toyota Camry, Mazda6, and Hyundai Sonata.

Featuring Renault's signature European design style, the Talisman is equipped with Pure Vision LED headlights and stylish LED taillights. Exterior options include eight paint colors and 17-inch alloy wheels. The car measures 4,850 mm in length, 1,870 mm in width, 1,460 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,810 mm.

The highlight of the Talisman lies in its interior, featuring a driver's seat with massage function and 6-position memory power adjustment. It also has a dual-zone automatic climate control system with rear air vents and a head-up display (HUD).

The Talisman's Multi-Sense system offers four driving modes (Comfort, Sport, Eco, Neutral) and a personalized Perso driving mode. The interior features four-color ambient lighting. The instrument panel incorporates a 7-inch LCD digital display. The R-Link 2 infotainment system is integrated into an 8.7-inch vertically oriented touchscreen in the center of the dashboard. R-Link 2 resembles a personal tablet. It includes Tomtom 3D navigation and supports most current connectivity standards.

The Talisman uses a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder TCe engine producing 190 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 260 Nm at 2,500 rpm. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Safety features on this French sedan include ABS brakes, EBD, BA. It also features intelligent cruise control, ESP electronic stability control, HSA hill start assist, TCS traction control, EPA automatic parking assist, OSP overspeed warning, BSW blind spot monitoring, LDW lane departure warning, front/rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and six airbags.

According to plan, Renault will introduce the Talisman to Vietnamese customers at the 2016 International Motor Show, an event taking place at the end of October in Ho Chi Minh City, and the price will be announced at the same time.

Besides the Talisman, Renault Vietnam also distributes the Latitude, Keleos, Duster, Megane, and Sandero Stepway.
