What did Rima Thanh Vy say about the daring scene in the film 'Cam'?
Actress Rima Thanh Vy recently shared her thoughts on playing the role of Tam, particularly the daring scene on the big screen.

In the movieBranRecently released, besides Lam Thanh My's performance, the character of Tam, played by Rima Thanh Vy, has also received attention. Sharing about her journey in embodying this character, the 9X actress said she faced many difficulties because: “Tam is a role I've never played before in my acting career. Previously, I only played sensational, strong-willed roles, not gentle ones. So when experiencing this character, I had to be feminine and reserved. I have a sharp face, so it was very difficult to act that way. I hope the audience will be open-minded and accept my efforts.”
Rima Thanh Vy said that when the director gave her the opportunity, she was a little worried because she knew that the character of Tam this time was different from what people thought. Therefore, the beauty spent time rewatching several films and rereading the fairy tale to find a suitable way to act. She shared: “But after talking to the director, I realized that this character is very different from the Tam of the past, so there was nothing to worry about. I just went all out, as long as I got the character right.”

Regarding the controversies, Rima Thanh Vy admitted that when she decided to pursue a career in the arts, she didn't worry about opposing opinions. She believes that this profession needs constructive criticism and encouragement to improve. "Those opinions fuel my desire to learn more and become better, to convince the audience that I deserve the opportunity to portray special roles," she stated.
In the movieBranRima Thanh Vy had a daring scene in front of the camera. The actress said that to get that scene right, she had to think and consider a lot. She revealed: “I'm not very confident about my body. When the director asked, 'If we were to film a scene like that, how would you feel?', I hesitated a lot because I thought, 'What would I do if I wasn't confident about my appearance?' After a week or two, I thought, 'Maybe if they said it's usable, then it really is usable.' If it's within my capabilities, I'll try my best to complete my role. I hope that scene will make people feel more interested in the character of Tam in the film.”

In the film, Rima Thanh Vy mainly acts alongside Lam Thanh My. Beforehand, she had watched some of the films and was impressed by the "child ghost" actress's performance. However, this didn't put any pressure on Rima Thanh Vy or make her nervous when working with her because: "For an actress, acting style is very important. Each person will have a different way of expressing the same role, so I wasn't worried. Since My is so talented, I had to try even harder because we play sisters in the film."
Regarding the voice change, Rima Thanh Vy expressed some regret, saying, "Every actor wants to use their real voice." However, the actress respects the director's opinion and added, "What's important is whether the director thinks that voice is suitable or not. I think the director had a specific intention, wanting the voice for the historical drama Tấm to be softer. My real voice is a bit more edgy and modern. I also agree with the voice dubbing to make my work more complete."
