Rescue helicopter crashes in Japan, 9 killed.
Japanese authorities confirmed on March 6 that all nine people on board a rescue helicopter that crashed in a snow-covered mountain region in central Japan have died.
The Japan Fire and Disaster Management Agency announced that nine people, including seven firefighters, one engineer, and one pilot, were on board the rescue helicopter that crashed during a training flight on March 5th.

This helicopter belongs to the Nagano Prefectural Rescue Agency, located 250km northwest of Tokyo.
Television footage showed the plane buried in thick snow with debris scattered around. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
According to NHK news agency, the helicopter involved in the accident was a 15-seat Ben 420 EP (Bell 420EP) helicopter, manufactured in the United States.
