At around 5:00 AM on March 5th, Mr. Ky's fishing boat stopped fishing about 18 nautical miles off the coast of Quynh Lap commune (Hoang Mai town).
While everyone was pulling in their fishing nets, fisherman An unexpectedly slipped and fell into the sea. Upon discovering the incident, the other fishermen immediately rushed to search for him but could not find any trace of him.
Reportedly, this was Mr. An's first sea voyage. The search for Mr. An is still ongoing.
