A lively competition of traditional team rituals in the rice-growing region celebrates National Day on September 2nd.

(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, over two days (September 1st-2nd), 30 communes and towns in Yen Thanh district organized a competition on the rituals of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization.

In Khanh Thanh commune, a rural area rich in patriotic and revolutionary traditions, the local authorities organized many vibrant activities, including a Scout ceremony competition that attracted more than 400 Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers from 10 hamlets.

To prepare for the competition, the teams fully prepared costumes, cut and pasted materials, made palanquins depicting President Ho Chi Minh, invested in purchasing frog drum sets, and diligently practiced. In particular, the creative section was artistically enhanced with jigsaw puzzles and vivid depictions of rural life, reflecting the renewal and progress of the homeland and the country in the process of building new rural areas. Therefore, the students brought impressive and beautiful performances to the competition, attracting thousands of spectators to watch and cheer them on.


In Bao Thanh commune, the Scout ceremony competition attracted nearly 500 Scouts aged 13-15 from 13 branches. Despite facing certain financial difficulties, the efforts and effective social mobilization successfully garnered the support and contributions of the local people and those working away from home, resulting in a vibrant and exciting National Day celebration on September 2nd for the young Scouts.

Each troop consists of 30-40 members, with a maximum duration of 35 minutes, performing 5 competition items, including: organizing a parade, performing the flag-raising ceremony, practicing horizontal and vertical formations, performing individual movements in place, performing mobile movements, staging a group dance, and a creative competition.

This is one of the annual activities organized in localities, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere on the National Independence Day. From this, it helps members understand and correctly implement the regulations and rituals of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization, enhancing their awareness of training, discipline, team spirit, building solidarity and friendship, and strengthening the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization, serving as preparation for the new school year.

Besides the team etiquette competition for young people, from September 1st to 2nd, most residential areas in Yen Thanh district also organized many activities such as: cultural performances, football and volleyball competitions, camping... The camping competition, organized by four communes – Lang Thanh, Vien Thanh, Quang Thanh, and Tan Thanh – created a vibrant atmosphere to celebrate National Day on September 2nd.
