Bustling book festival in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - As an opportunity to promote reading culture, the book festival in Nghe An attracts the participation of many book lovers.
On the afternoon of April 19, Vinh University coordinated with the Political Department of Military Region 4 to organize activities to celebrate Vietnam Book Day on April 21 and World Book and Copyright Day on April 23.

91 years ago, on April 21, 1927, the book “The Revolutionary Path” by President Ho Chi Minh was published, the first work in Vietnamese printed by Vietnamese printers. To honor that profound cultural significance, since 2014, April 21 has become Vietnam Book Day.

After 4 years of implementation, Vietnam Book Day has become an annual cultural event that is well received by the public, creating an effect, spreading widely, building a reading culture to improve people's knowledge, contributing to the comprehensive development of Vietnamese culture and people.
