Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly preparing to open a private members' club in Madrid. According to Libertad Digital (Spain), the project, called Vega Private Members Club, is being developed by businessman Inigo Onieva in collaboration with Mabel Hospitality (a company owned by Ronaldo and businessman Manuel Campos Guallar), and aims to open before the end of this year at 88 Lagasca Street, Golden Mile.

A secluded space, a day-night model.

The news report states that Vega Private Members Club will “redefine” how people socialize and network in Madrid. Spanning approximately 1,000 square meters, the space prohibits the use of phones and photography to ensure privacy. During the day, it is designed for meetings, private offices, co-working spaces, and podcast studios. At night, it transforms into a social hub with exclusive dinners and specialized bars.

The “CLB” is divided into three spaces, each serving a different time of day: Casa Vega (a contemporary bistro), Vega Restaurant, and Toto (an Italian restaurant). In addition, there is a wine club offering private cava and wine experiences.

Membership fees and benefits

The project aims for a multi-tiered membership model. The highest membership tier can only be obtained by invitation, with a one-time fee of €15,000, providing lifetime access, priority booking, and bespoke experiences. Cheaper packages start at €2,400 per year, plus a €2,000 upfront fee.

Ronaldo and the challenges after retirement.

Ronaldo has built a business ecosystem with CR7 Clothing, CR7 Fitness, his personal YouTube channel, and many other ventures. In an interview with Piers Morgan earlier this month, he admitted that the moment of retirement is not far off: “It won’t be long now. I think I’ll be ready. It will definitely be difficult, very difficult. Maybe I’ll cry… It will be incredibly, incredibly difficult, but I’ve been preparing for my future since I was 25, 26, 27. So I think I’m capable of facing that pressure.”

He also described his new priorities after leaving the pitch: “Nothing can compare to the adrenaline that football gives you when you score a goal. But I have other passions. When I retire, I will have more time for myself, for my family, to raise my children. I want to be more of a family man, to be present more,” Ronaldo said. “Also, I want to have my own hobbies. I like watching UFC, martial arts fights. I like Padel. I like and want to learn more about my companies. I will never become a full-time YouTuber, of course, but I want to participate. I will spend more time learning. I think I will do many interesting things, things I have never done before.”

Madrid's legacy and its present on the pitch.

Success at Real Madrid is a crucial part of Ronaldo's career, alongside his time with Manchester United, Juventus, and the Portuguese national team. At 40, he still maintains an impressive goal-scoring record for Portugal and Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. Despite having a contract with Al-Nassr until the end of the 2026/27 season, Ronaldo admits his retirement is approaching.

Ahead of Portugal's final chance to win their first World Cup in 2026, Ronaldo has stated he will focus all his efforts on helping Al-Nassr conquer titles after a long trophy drought. According to sources, Al-Nassr currently leads the Saudi Pro League.

If Vega Private Members Club opens as planned, it will be the next step in Ronaldo's strategy of shifting from the feel of the pitch to a connected, private, and experience-rich space – exactly as he describes his future after the spotlight fades.
