'Rostec' transfers 'king of the sky' to the Russian army
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) has delivered the next batch of Su-57 fighters and Su-34 front-line bombers to the military, the Russian state corporation reported.
The Su-57 multi-purpose front-line aviation complex solves a wide range of combat missions, capable of striking air, ground and sea targets. The aircraft can operate around the clock, even in difficult weather conditions and in a heavily jammed environment.
The Su-34 fighter-bomber destroys ground and air targets, infrastructure protected by air defense systems and located at considerable distances from the base. It can operate under enemy fire and electronic countermeasures, day and night, in any meteorological conditions, at any location. The Su-34 uses unguided and guided weapons. It can operate as an airborne reconnaissance aircraft.
