2 students in Nghe An drowned while swimming in a pond
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 12, Mr. Nguyen Cong Nong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Ngoc Commune, Thanh Chuong District, said that a tragic drowning incident had just occurred in the area, causing the death of 2 students.
According to initial information, at around 5:00 p.m. on May 11, NCT and NCT (born in 2007, residing in block 13, Thanh Chuong town, Thanh Chuong district) and 2-3 other students went to the pumping station area in Ru Nguoc (Ngoc Minh hamlet, Thanh Ngoc commune) to bathe.
After that, the children continued to the pond next to Highway 46 to continue bathing, and two of them drowned.

Discovering the incident, people brought the two children to shore and provided first aid, but they could not survive...
Upon receiving the news, the authorities were present at the scene to verify and clarify the incident. In the evening of the same day, the bodies of the children were handed over to their families for burial according to local customs.
