While swimming in a dam, a young child tragically drowned.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of June 14th, Mr. Tran Duy Liem, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, announced that a drowning incident had occurred in the area, resulting in the death of a young child.

Accordingly, at noon on the same day (June 14th), Phan Son D.H (born in 2009, residing in Thi Tu hamlet, Tan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) and 3-4 friends went to Ma To dam (located in Tan Binh hamlet, Tan Thanh commune) to cool off by swimming.
While swimming, H. unfortunately slipped into a deep area of water and was swept away by the current. Another child in the group also slipped further out but was fortunately pulled back to shore by an older friend; then they shouted for help.
Upon receiving the report, the authorities quickly arrived and, together with local residents, organized a search for the victim.H. was found shortly afterwards but was pronounced dead.
At approximately 4 PM on the same day, the victim's body was handed over to the family for burial.
