The yellow-fronted box turtle is a beautiful turtle species that has been heavily hunted in Vietnam. This turtle, capable of "boxing" itself, is now listed among the world's 50 most endangered species.

| The yellow-fronted box turtle's favorite foods are earthworms, fish, meat, ripe bananas, and vegetables. They have a habit of digging in the soil to bury their eggs before laying them; they lay their eggs in June. |
