Brilliant Opening Ceremony of the 9th National Sports Festival

The opening ceremony of the 9th National Sports Congress in 2022 includes 3 chapters: Vietnam's Aspiration; Convergence and Spread; For a Prosperous Vietnam.

At the opening ceremony, the sacred flame of the Games taken from the Ho Chi Minh Museum was carried into the square by 9 outstanding athletes of Vietnamese sports, lighting up the cauldron. This Games is considered the largest Games ever with more than 10,000 athletes competing in 43 sports with 900 sets of medals.

Along with 10 provinces and cities in the Northern region, Quang Ninh is the locality chosen to host many important events including the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and dozens of competitions of the 9th National Sports Festival.

The opening ceremony was brilliant.

The competitions started on November 26, up to this point, the 9th National Sports Festival has recorded 184 gold medals, 179 silver medals, and 253 bronze medals.
