Sacombank awards 'Nurturing Dreams' scholarships for the 2025 - 2026 school year
On the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025-2026, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) organized the awarding of "Nurturing Dreams" scholarships in 2025 to many students overcoming difficulties nationwide.
Attending the scholarship awarding ceremony in Nghe An was Mr. Hoang Chi Hung - Deputy Director, Chairman of Sacombank Trade Union Nghe An Branch. Also attending the ceremony were representatives of the Board of Directors of Cua Lo High School, partners and the school's Parents' Association.
On this occasion, Sacombank awarded 55 scholarships to students from 6 schools in Nghe An, each worth 1.5 million VND with a backpack.
In particular, representatives of Sacombank Nghe An Branch attended the opening ceremony at Cua Lo High School and awarded 15 scholarships to support 15 students with high achievements in the past school year; representatives of the Branch and Transaction Offices in the area also went to the schools to award scholarships to students in the province.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 01 prize to the student who won the "Sacombank Colors" drawing contest.
Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Hoang Chi Hung - Deputy Director of Sacombank Nghe An congratulated teachers and students of Cua Lo High School on the occasion of the new school year; at the same time, he expressed his joy to accompany the school to sponsor students who have overcome difficulties to study well. Hopefully, from this initial support, the students will strive to practice, study well, and become good children and good students, worthy of the school's tradition.
Launched in 2004, this is the 22nd year the scholarship program has been organized by Sacombank to further motivate generations of students from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue their dreams and excel in their studies and lives.
The 2025 scholarship program has a total of nearly 3,900 scholarships and 100 prizes from the drawing contest with a total budget of 7 billion VND for secondary and high school students in all provinces and cities where Sacombank branches operate.
In particular, it is expected that in October 2025, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) will launch a full scholarship program for second-year students majoring in Economics or Information Technology in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and provinces in the Southwest and North Central regions.
Not only providing financial support, Sacombank also creates a comprehensive development environment for students through training activities, career orientation, skills training, internship programs and job fairs. Thereby, contributing practically to the development of education and opening the door to the future for the young generation.
