Sacombank awards scholarships under the "Nurturing Dreams" program for the 2025-2026 academic year.
On the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025-2026, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) organized the awarding of scholarships under the "Nurturing Dreams" program for 2025 to many disadvantaged students nationwide.
Attending the scholarship awarding ceremony in Nghe An was Mr. Hoang Chi Hung - Deputy Director and Chairman of the Trade Union of Sacombank Nghe An Branch. Also present were representatives from the Board of Directors of Cua Lo High School, partners, and the school's Parent-Teacher Association.
On this occasion, Sacombank awarded 55 scholarships to students from 6 schools in Nghe An province, each worth 1.5 million VND and including a backpack.
Specifically, representatives from Sacombank's Nghe An Branch attended the opening ceremony at Cua Lo High School and awarded 15 scholarships to 15 high-achieving students from the past academic year; representatives from the Branch and other transaction offices in the area also visited schools to award scholarships to students in the province.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded one prize to the student who won the "Sacombank Colors" drawing competition.
Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Hoang Chi Hung - Deputy Director of Sacombank Nghe An - congratulated the teachers and students of Cua Lo High School on the occasion of the new school year; and expressed his joy at partnering with the school to sponsor students who overcome difficulties and excel in their studies. He hoped that with this initial support, the students would strive to improve themselves, study well, and become good children and excellent students, worthy of the school's tradition.
Launched in 2004, this is the 22nd year that Sacombank has organized this scholarship program to motivate disadvantaged students to pursue their dreams and excel in their studies and lives.
The 2025 scholarship program offers a total of nearly 3,900 scholarships and 100 prizes from a drawing competition, with a total budget of 7 billion VND, for junior and senior high school students in all provinces and cities where Sacombank branches operate.
Specifically, in October 2025, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) is expected to launch a full scholarship program for second-year students studying majors in Economics or Information Technology in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and provinces in the Southwest and North Central regions.
Beyond financial support, Sacombank also creates a comprehensive development environment for students through training, career guidance, skills development, internship programs, and job fairs. Through these initiatives, Sacombank makes a practical contribution to the development of education and opens doors to a brighter future for the younger generation.
