The domestic automaker introduced its EEV line, featuring pickup trucks and SUVs, priced under $30,000.
According to Malaysian media, the country's market is about to welcome a new domestic car brand, SAF. SAF plans to introduce two models to Malaysian consumers in early 2017: the Landfort SUV and the Striker pickup truck.

In fact, these two models are rebranded versions of the Landfort SUV and the Lion F22 pickup truck from the Chinese automaker Foday.
Both are equipped with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine from Mitsubishi, producing 134 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 200 Nm from 2,500 to 3,000 rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic, and drivetrain options include front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
Both the Landfort and Striker are EEV-certified and are expected to have a suggested retail price under $30,000. SAF expects to sell 100 vehicles at launch.
