Samsung Galaxy A27 revealed: Discarding the teardrop notch and upgrading to a modern design.
Based on leaked images of phone cases, the Samsung Galaxy A27 will feature a punch-hole display, a 50MP main camera, and a sharp 6.7-inch AMOLED panel.
Samsung is currently developing new mid-range Galaxy A series phones for the market, with the Galaxy A27 attracting significant attention. The latest leaked images of a phone case have revealed details of the device's design language.
The punch-hole display design replaces the teardrop notch.
The most notable change on the Galaxy A27 is the removal of the outdated "waterdrop" notch design (Infinity-U or Infinity-V). Instead, Samsung will switch to a punch-hole selfie camera, giving the front of the device a cleaner and more premium look. The screen bezels have also been refined to be thinner, especially at the bottom edge.

The minimalist design language is close to that of the high-end Galaxy A series.
The Galaxy A27 shares many similarities in appearance with the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57. It continues the minimalist design philosophy with a flat back and gently rounded corners. On the sides, Samsung employs its signature Key Island design, causing the frame around the power and volume buttons to slightly protrude from the overall body.

On the back, the triple camera system is arranged vertically in a module that slightly protrudes from the back, while the LED flash is placed separately to the side. This design gives it an elegant and sophisticated look for the average user.
Expected specifications of the Galaxy A27
In terms of display capabilities, the Galaxy A27 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full-HD+ resolution. This screen technology promises sharp image quality, vibrant colors, and high detail, meeting the needs of both entertainment and work.
| Parameter | Expected details |
|---|---|
| Screen | 6.7-inch, AMOLED, Full-HD+ |
| Main camera | 50MP |
| Ultra-wide angle camera | 8MP |
| Macro camera | 2MP |
| Front design | Punch-hole display |
The phone's camera system includes a 50MP main sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. This configuration is sufficient to meet the diverse photography needs of most users today, from landscapes to close-ups.

Samsung is expected to officially launch the Galaxy A27 with various color options in the second half of this year. With upgrades in design and display, it is considered a noteworthy model in the mid-range phone segment in the near future.
