Samsung Galaxy S26 upgrades AI Audio Eraser technology: Eliminates audio noise directly on YouTube and Netflix.
The One UI 8.5 version on the Galaxy S26 series offers background noise cancellation even while watching livestreams or online videos, optimizing the real-time audio experience for users.
Samsung has officially introduced a powerful upgrade to the Audio Eraser feature on the Galaxy S26 series running One UI 8.5. Previously a prominent post-production editing tool on last year's Galaxy S25 series, Audio Eraser has now been improved to better serve users' needs for enjoying digital content live.
A groundbreaking upgrade from post-production tools to real-time processing.
Audio Eraser is a tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to separate and remove unwanted background noise from videos. Previously, users could only use this feature when reviewing videos in the Gallery app. However, with the Galaxy S26 series, this boundary has been removed.

Specifically, Audio Eraser can now process audio even while users are watching livestreams or videos on social media platforms. According to Samsung, this tool will widely support popular applications such as YouTube, Netflix, and Instagram, helping to eliminate annoying background noise in an instant.
Flexible operating mechanism and high compatibility.
The method for activating this feature on the Galaxy S26 is designed to avoid interrupting the user experience. Instead of exiting the app, you simply swipe down the status bar and tap the Audio Eraser toggle button, similar to how you activate Live Caption.

Notably, this feature is no longer limited to devices using the high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Samsung has expanded support to include Exynos-powered versions through new One UI updates. This gives users across the Galaxy ecosystem access to the most advanced AI audio processing technology.
