Samsung has officially expanded its internal testing program for the One UI 9.0 interface, developed on Android 17, to 49 devices within the Galaxy ecosystem. This move is being implemented in parallel with public beta versions on flagship devices, aiming to optimize performance and shorten update times for users.

According to software development data, Samsung began testing One UI 9.0 in mid-May. In the next phase, the company released successive beta versions for the Galaxy S26 series in many major markets. One UI 9.0 promises numerous improvements in resource management, a smoother user interface, and optimized system features on the Android 17 platform. It is expected that this version will be officially announced at the end of July before being widely rolled out to commercial devices.
