Samsung launches Galaxy Book 6 Series: Intel Core Ultra 3 chip and 30-hour battery life.
At CES 2026, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Book 6 series, featuring a 60% increase in CPU performance thanks to the Intel 18A platform, combined with an RTX 5070 GPU and groundbreaking battery life.
At CES 2026, Samsung officially introduced its latest generation of laptops with three versions: Galaxy Book 6, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra. This year's product line marks a significant leap forward in processing performance and energy efficiency thanks to close collaboration with Intel and NVIDIA.

Power from the Intel 18A platform and next-generation GPU.
At the heart of the Galaxy Book 6 Series is the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor, developed on the advanced Intel 18A process. With a 16-core architecture including new high-performance and power-efficient cores, this CPU delivers up to 60% faster processing speeds than its predecessor. Notably, the integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) provides up to 50 TOPS of performance, optimized for complex artificial intelligence (AI) tasks.
The top-of-the-line Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 or 5060 graphics card for laptops. This graphics power allows the machine to smoothly handle 3D design tasks, video editing, and gaming at the highest settings.

Improved vapor chamber cooling system
To maintain stable performance, Samsung has redesigned the cooling system. For the first time, vapor chamber technology is featured on the Pro version and its surface area is significantly expanded on the Ultra version. This system combines with dual fans and specialized heat sinks to optimize heat dissipation.
The new fan blade design with optimal angle and proprietary uneven blade spacing technology minimizes noise while ensuring maximum airflow. This prevents the machine from overheating even when operating under high load for extended periods.

Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and 30-hour battery life.
Both the Ultra and Pro versions utilize a Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen display with an adaptive refresh rate from 30Hz to 120Hz. The screen achieves a maximum HDR brightness of 1000 nits, and features Vision Booster technology that automatically adjusts the display to ambient light. True Bright 1300 and True Black 0.0005 nits certifications ensure absolute contrast and the most accurate colors.
In terms of battery life, Samsung announced that the Ultra and Pro models can play videos continuously for up to 30 hours. Super-fast charging technology allows the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra to recharge 63% of its battery in just 30 minutes, completely eliminating concerns about power while on the go.

Sophisticated design and AI ecosystem
The new product line boasts an impressively slim and lightweight design: the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is 15.4mm thick, while the 16-inch Pro version is only 11.9mm thick. The sound system on the Ultra version has been upgraded to six Dolby Atmos speakers, including force-canceling woofers to reduce vibrations and distortion.
Below is a table of basic technical specifications for the product line:
| Parameter | Galaxy Book 6 Pro | Galaxy Book 6 Ultra |
|---|---|---|
| Microprocessors | Intel Core Ultra Series 3 | Intel Core Ultra Series 3 |
| Graphics | Intel Arc Graphics | NVIDIA RTX 5060/5070 |
| Screen | Dynamic AMOLED 2X (14"/16") | Dynamic AMOLED 2X (16") |
| Thinness | 11.9mm (16") | 15.4mm |
| Battery life | Up to 30 hours | Up to 30 hours |
The product integrates the Galaxy AI suite of tools, including features such as AI Select, Smart Search, and Note-Taking. In terms of security, the entire device is protected by the Samsung Knox platform along with standard Windows 11 security layers.
