To implement this program, Thanh Lien Agricultural Cooperative in Thanh Chuong district has invested nearly 700 million VND to bid for land, build factories and equipment for tray seedling production. Simultaneously with the soil preparation process is the incubation of seeds. Seeds are spread evenly into trays with soil and the trays are stacked on top of each other waiting for the seeds to germinate.

After 2 days, the trays are taken out to the fields and covered with plastic like other types of seedlings for the seedlings to develop.

The seedling trays are covered with plastic to protect them from rats, insects and cold. The seedlings are sprayed with pesticides and left in the plastic for 7 days.

When the seedlings grow, they will be removed from the plastic to photosynthesize and wait another 3 days before they can be planted. Sowing seedlings in trays has many benefits. First of all, it saves space, for example, to plant 1 sao of rice, if sown normally, it requires 12 m2 of land, while sowing seedlings in trays only requires 3.5 m2. The second benefit is saving water.

But the biggest benefit for farmers is not having to worry about planting seedlings or transplanting. Just register with the cooperative, and the cooperative will cover the entire process of planting seedlings and using machines.

Initially, Thanh Lien Agricultural Cooperative implemented machine planting for 50 hectares. Although the profit was not much, it opened up a new direction of production in the fields with the participation of mechanization in all stages from land preparation, machine planting, harvesting, transportation, thereby reducing labor and accumulating land more effectively. Next year, the Cooperative plans to expand to 100 hectares in the area. In the spring crop of 2017, nearly 500 households in Thanh Lien, Thanh Hung, Thanh Van, Thanh Hoa and Thanh Tien participated in the machine planting service.
