The absence of new cases indicates that the recent cluster of cases in Vinh City has been well and strictly controlled. However, residents of the province should not be complacent, especially with citizens returning from epidemic areas. The disease could very well re-enter the area from various directions.

* Regarding testing procedures:Over the past 12 hours, the CDC has received 1,092 samples (254 F1 samples, 838 community samples). No new positive cases were detected, 1,090 samples tested negative, and 2 pooled samples were suspected to be re-sampled.
