On the morning of June 29th, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control, reported that from 7 PM on June 28th to 7 AM on June 29th, Nghe An province detected 4 new positive cases of Covid-19. Of these, 1 was a community transmission case, and 3 were F1 contacts who subsequently became F0 contacts.

second new caseThe patient is a female, born in 2000, working as a cosmetics salesperson, residing on Ngo Tuan Street, Quang Tien Block, Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City. She is the daughter-in-law living in the same house as patients D.ST and NTL, who were previously announced. On June 20th, patient PTTH was quarantined at Huu Nghi Hotel and tested negative for the first time; on June 28th, patient PTTH tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Third new casePatient D.TH, female, born in 1960, occupation: Tea vendor at Vinh Market, address: Trung Hoa 1 block, Le Mao ward, Vinh City. Patient D.TH is a close contact (F1) of patient KMN, who was previously announced. The patient was isolated at the College of Education on June 22nd and had three samples taken with negative results. On June 28th, the patient developed a headache and a sample was taken and sent to the Nghe An CDC, which returned a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Fourth new casePatient D.D.D, male, born in 1998, is an employee of Viet Phap Co., Ltd., located at Block 23, Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City. Patient D.D.D is a close contact (F1) of patient D.ST, who was previously announced. Patient D.D.D was isolated at the College of Education isolation area and had his first test on June 23rd, which came back negative. On June 28th, the patient had a second RT-PCR test, which came back positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
As of now, Nghe An province has detected 86 positive cases of Covid-19, including: Vinh City with 53 cases, Dien Chau with 13 cases, Tan Ky with 1 case, Quy Hop with 5 cases, Nam Dan with 4 cases, Do Luong with 1 case, Hoang Mai with 2 cases, Nghia Dan with 1 case, Nghi Loc with 2 cases, and Quynh Luu with 4 cases. In addition, one case of re-positive testing from a person returning from Bac Giang was detected in Nghia Dan district.
