On the morning of August 3rd, Nghe An province recorded 10 new cases of Covid-19.
(Baonghean.vn) - Five new cases are linked to the outbreak at Minh An General Hospital; the remaining five are people returning from provinces with outbreaks in the South.
On the morning of August 3rd, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of the Nghe An Center for Disease Control and Prevention - informed: In the past 12 hours (from 7:00 PM on August 2nd to 7:00 AM on August 3rd),Nghe AnTen new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded.

2.Patient HMQ, male, born in 2018.Address: Yen Truong, Quynh Thuan, Quynh Luu. The patient is a close contact (F1) and the child of the previously announced patient TTN. On July 27th, the patient was isolated at Quynh Thuan Kindergarten and tested twice on July 27th and 29th, both times yielding negative results. On August 2nd, the patient developed a fever and fatigue, and a third test confirmed a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
3.Patient HTQC, female, born in 2015.Address: Bac Loi, An Hoa, Quynh Luu. The patient is a close contact (F1) of the previously announced patient BTK. On July 31st, the patient was isolated at An Hoa Primary School and tested negative for the first time. On August 2nd, the patient tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus on the second test.
4.Patient D.TKT, female, born in 2014Permanent address: Minh An General Hospital Dormitory. The patient is a close contact (F1) and the child of the previously announced patient TTT. On July 28th, the patient was quarantined at the Minh An General Hospital Dormitory and tested negative twice on July 28th and 31st. On August 2nd, the patient developed a fever and fatigue, and a third test was conducted, confirming a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
5.Patient LHD, male, born in 2019.Address: Cau Giat Town, Quynh Luu District. The patient is a close contact (F1) and the child of the previously announced patient HTN. On July 30th, the patient was isolated at Hoa Mai Kindergarten, facility 1, Cau Giat, and had their first test sample taken, which yielded a negative result. On August 2nd, the patient had a second RT-PCR test, and on the morning of August 3rd, the result confirmed positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
6.Patient D.TP, female, born in 2003.Address: Lang Thanh, Yen Thanh. On August 2nd, the patient and family traveled by car from...Ho Chi Minh CityUpon arriving at Ben Thuy Bridge, the patient was tested using a rapid test which yielded a positive result. Immediately afterward, samples were sent to the CDC, and the patient was taken to isolation at the Hung Nguyen District Vocational Training Center. On the morning of August 3rd, the test results confirmed a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
7.Patient TTN, female, born in 1970.Address: Tan Thanh, Yen Thanh. On August 2nd, the patient and family traveled by car from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Thuy Bridge. There, the patient was tested using a rapid test, which yielded a positive result. Immediately afterward, samples were sent to the CDC, and the patient was quarantined at the Hung Nguyen District Vocational Training Center. On the morning of August 3rd, the test results confirmed a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
8.Patient LVD, male, born in 1993.Address: Tuong Duong. On August 2nd, the patient and family traveled by car from Binh Duong to Ben Thuy Bridge, where the patient was tested using a rapid test, which yielded a positive result. Immediately afterward, samples were sent to the CDC, and the patient was quarantined at the Hung Nguyen District Vocational Training Center. On the morning of August 3rd, the test results confirmed a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
9.Patient NVT, male, born in 2001.Address: Trang Son, Do Luong. On July 31st, the patient traveled from District 3, Ho Chi Minh City to Nghe An and was quarantined at Trang Son Primary School. On August 1st, the patient's first sample was taken, yielding a suspected positive result. On August 2nd, a second RT-PCR sample was taken, and on the morning of August 3rd, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2.
10.Patient D.TS, male, born in 2003.Address: Tru Son, Do Luong. On August 1st, the patient traveled from Binh Duong to Nghe An and was quarantined at Tru Son Kindergarten. The first sample taken yielded a suspected positive result. On August 2nd, a second RT-PCR sample was taken, and on the morning of August 3rd, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Thus, to date, the province has recorded the following:268 patients have contracted Covid-19.In 15 localities: Vinh City: 92, Quynh Luu: 70, Tuong Duong: 23, Dien Chau: 21, Yen Thanh: 13, Ky Son: 12, Hoang Mai: 10, Nam Dan: 8, Quy Hop: 5, Nghi Loc: 5, Do Luong: 3, Nghia Dan: 1, Tan Ky: 1, Thanh Chuong: 1, Hung Nguyen: 3.
Regarding the outbreak at Minh An General Hospital, from July 26th to the present, there have been 66 cases in 2 districts, including: Quynh Luu: 58 cases (in 10 communes); Hoang Mai: 8 cases (in 1 commune).
