On the morning of July 7th, Nghe An province reported one new COVID-19 patient.
(Baonghean.vn) - This patient is a case of F1 who became F0, and had been isolated beforehand.
On the morning of July 7th, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control, informed that from 7:00 PM on July 6th, 2021 to 7:00 AM on July 7th, 2021,Nghe AnOne new positive case has been detected, an F1 contact who had been previously quarantined.

The newly detected positive case is LTN, female, born in 1972, a trader, residing in Quang Thai hamlet, Trung Phuc Cuong commune, Nam Dan district. Patient LTN is a close contact (F1) of patient LTH, who was previously announced.PatientThe patient was isolated at the former Nam Cuong Commune People's Committee since June 26th, and had one sample taken for testing on June 26th with a negative result. On July 6th, the patient had a second sample taken for testing, which confirmed a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
To date, Nghe An province has recorded 129 positive cases of Covid-19 across 10 localities, specifically: Vinh City: 87, Dien Chau: 18, Tan Ky: 1, Quy Hop: 5, Nam Dan: 5, Do Luong: 1, Hoang Mai: 2, Nghia Dan: 1, Nghi Loc: 4, and Quynh Luu: 5.
The entire province has 5 patients who tested positive again after treatment and were transferred from Bac Giang province to 4 districts: Nghia Dan 1, Que Phong 1, Thanh Chuong 1, and Quynh Luu 2; 6 patients have recovered and been discharged from the hospital during this outbreak (since June 13th); and 1 patient has died.
On the evening of July 6, 2021 (from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM), the Nghe An CDC tested a total of 938 samples (1 sample that tested positive after screening, sent from Quang Khoi General Hospital; 227 F1 samples; and 710 community samples), all of which tested negative.
