Commemorating the 126th anniversary of his birth amidst a nation experiencing 30 years of reform and achieving tremendous, historically significant accomplishments, we are deeply moved and remember his immense contributions that have brought glory to our nation, our people, and our country. With a burning desire to win independence and freedom for the nation, to ensure everyone has enough food, clothing, and education, at the young age of 21, he traveled across the globe, searching for a path to save the country and its people.

He embraced Marxism-Leninism as a historical necessity and found in it the path to national liberation, class liberation, and human liberation. To save the country and liberate the nation, there was no other way than the proletarian revolution, and it required a revolutionary party to lead it. From then on, he urgently prepared all the conditions for the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Since the Party was founded, nurtured, and led by him, our nation, millions united as one, has overcome countless challenges, achieving the August Revolution of 1945, ushering in a new era for the nation; successfully conducting two wars of resistance against French colonialism and American imperialism; and comprehensively and synchronously implementing the reform process, aiming for a prosperous people, a strong nation, democracy, justice, and civilization.

With these victories, Vietnam transformed from a semi-feudal colonial country into an independent and free nation; our people rose from a state of slavery to become masters of their country, their society, and themselves; our country, from poverty and backwardness, entered a period of accelerated industrialization and modernization, and gained an increasingly prominent position on the international stage.

With 79 springs dedicated to the revolution, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people, the name and legacy of President Ho Chi Minh shine brightly with the Vietnamese nation; he is a source of pride, inspiration, and immense spiritual strength for nations that have been and are fighting for peace, national independence, democracy, and social progress throughout the world.

This year, the 126th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth coincides with a time when the entire nation is filled with excitement and pride, striving to successfully implement the Resolution of the 12th National Congress of the Party; and across the country, people are eagerly anticipating the great national event: the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and representatives to people's councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term. This is a heavy political responsibility, but also a noble right and duty of every citizen.

To practically commemorate the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the entire Party, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, and every Vietnamese citizen continue to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style, pledging absolute loyalty to the interests of the nation and the class, and steadfastly upholding the ideal of national independence linked with socialism. Transforming the noble sentiments towards beloved Uncle Ho into great determination and creative action, we will successfully achieve the goals set forth by the 12th National Congress of the Party.

Strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party, enhancing the Party's leadership capacity and fighting strength, and building a clean and strong political system. Promoting the strength of socialist democracy. Accelerating comprehensive and synchronized national renewal, developing the economy rapidly and sustainably, and striving to soon transform Vietnam into a fundamentally modern industrialized nation.

With deep affection and gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh, every Party member and cadre must truly internalize revolutionary ethics, truly practice diligence, frugality, integrity, and impartiality; keep our Party truly clean, worthy of being a leader and a truly loyal servant of the people, as he always instructed. Party organizations, agencies, units, and localities must urgently disseminate and widely implement the Politburo's Directive 05 dated May 15, 2016, on promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style throughout society, considering this an important task in Party building and rectification.

We must cherish and preserve unity within the Party "as if protecting the pupil of our eye"; we must cherish and build national unity; we must maintain a close, inseparable bond with the people, and make serving the people our ultimate goal.
