According to the regulations on regular university admissions and regular college admissions for teacher training majors, after receiving the results of the national high school exam, candidates can adjust their admission application once, from July 15 to July 23. Deputy Minister of Education Bui Van Ga advised candidates to stay calm and consider the score distribution before making adjustments.

"Previously, students predicted 20 points and registered several wishes at levels higher, equal to, and lower than 20 points. If the test score is between 19.5 and 20.5, there should be no adjustment. This year, the admission principle is based on scores, not wishes. Candidates who register for wish 10 but have a higher score than the candidate who registered for wish 1 will still be admitted," the Deputy Minister explained.

The Ministry of Education is expected to announce the minimum university entrance scores by July 14. One day later, 140 universities and colleges using the national high school exam results for admission will announce their admission thresholds. About 200 schools use other methods to recruit students.
