(Baonghean.vn) - From March 29th to 31st, 2024, a book festival with the theme "Turn off your phones - open a book" will take place on Hung Vuong pedestrian street within the Eco Central Park.

The book festival will feature the participation of 12 leading Vietnamese publishing and distribution companies such as Thai Ha, Kim Dong, Phuong Nam, etc., with approximately 12,000 different book titles. It is expected to become the largest book festival ever held in Nghe An.
At the book festival, residents of Eco Central Park, people of Vinh City and Nghe An province not only embark on an adventure to discover a vast treasure trove of knowledge from the universe of science and technology, fun math, the world of literature to the colorful world of comics, but also have the opportunity to meet and interact with famous writers and poets who are natives of Nghe An.
In particular, by participating in this book festival, residents and readers can receive their favorite books and share their cherished books with underprivileged children through the "Future Bookcase" program, spreading the spirit of reading and the inherent love of learning among the people of Nghe An.

This book festival is particularly significant as it is being held for the first time on Hung Vuong Street - the most beautiful pedestrian street in Nghe An, situated amidst a living space with a density of 100 trees per person and 50 hectares of green space and surface water.
Hung Vuong pedestrian street, also known as Hung Vuong Boulevard - one of the two "main arteries" of the Eco Central Park urban area - was handed over two months early and inaugurated on December 29, 2023.
Since its opening, the street has become an indispensable destination for entertainment, recreation, and photo opportunities for tens of thousands of Vinh City residents, especially on weekends and special occasions. These include the New Year's Eve Sound and Light Festival 2024, the flower street decorations, and the "Coming Home for Tet" mega-festival celebrating the Year of the Dragon…
Mr. Nguyen Van Son, representative of Ecopark's founding, said that each event is organized with a different concept but all share the same goal: to enhance the spiritual life and experiences of residents and participants. "With this largest-scale book festival in Nghe An, we want to extend and spread the studious spirit of the people of Nghe Tinh, while also creating a playground and exchange for children and young residents so they can learn while playing and play while learning in a spacious and fascinating environment," Mr. Son shared.
Located in the new center of Vinh city, Eco Central Park boasts a prime location, near the river and bordering the sea, where sea breezes and river breezes meet – a unique feature in Nghe An province. It is situated on the extended Nguyen Sy Sach road and Chu Huy Man dike road, adjacent to the Lam River.
In particular, the extended Nguyen Sy Sach road has been fully completed and is currently in phase 2, expanding to both sides, with the section adjacent to the Lam River dike being up to 70m wide. From this location, residents of Eco Central Park only need 7-20 minutes to travel to the center of Vinh city, access the hospital system, Vinh International Airport, and the famous Cua Lo tourist area.
