Scaffolding collapses, 6 workers injured or killed.

The scaffolding collapse resulted in the deaths of two workers and injuries to four others.

The incident occurred around 5:00 AM on October 13th at the construction site located at 1 Giap Nhi Street, Thinh Liet Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi.

Mr. Dinh Van Minh (63 years old, head of the neighborhood security team No. 12) said that at that time, he and some family members suddenly heard a very loud "crash".

Mr. Minh immediately ran up to the fifth floor to look at the adjacent construction site and saw that the scaffolding had collapsed, and the workers were in a state of panic.

"Some workers shouted that two people had fallen into the basement and were lying motionless," this witness said.

Initial reports indicate that the accident resulted in two fatalities, a man and a woman; four others were injured.

Upon receiving reports from residents, the authorities arrived at the scene, removed the victims, and transported them to the hospital for emergency treatment.

The building where the scaffolding collapsed is reportedly a 28-story office and residential complex, currently under construction up to the sixth floor. Following the accident, the entrance to the construction site was sealed with tarpaulins, and construction has been temporarily halted.
