(Baonghean.vn) - Although the rainy season has ended, landslides are still occurring on the section of road passing through Cho Pass on National Highway 7, in Lang Khe commune, Con Cuong district, threatening the safety of people and vehicles using the road.

Located at the Chó slope area on National Highway 7, in Lạng Khê commune, districtCon CuongWe saw rocks and soil still rolling down from the mountain onto the road. Up on the mountain, bamboo groves and trees were uprooted and leaning precariously, threatening to roll down, while vehicles continued to travel below, posing a significant danger.

Mr. Vi Van Tinh, a resident of Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district, shared: "Every time I pass through here..."landslide at Dog SlopeTraffic management units are clearing and leveling the roads to reopen them, but it is necessary to deal with hanging rocks and fallen trees on the high mountains before road users can feel safe.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Yen, Head of the Con Cuong Road Management Unit, said: "The landslide at Cho Slope occurred on November 21st, affecting approximately over 40 meters."3Rocks rolled down from the mountain onto the road. Immediately after the landslide, the unit carried out temporary clearing to ensure the road was open. The amount of rocks that slid down partially buried the road, and we will continue to address the issue on November 22nd."

In the long term, the traffic management unit is submitting proposals to higher authorities to find effective solutions to prevent landslides, as landslides frequently occur in this area during the rainy season.
