Landslide in Que Phong district: Urgent evacuation of 26 households and 126 people
This afternoon and evening, September 23, Que Phong district continued to urgently evacuate 26 households and 126 people from the dangerous landslide area.

Mr. Phan Trong Dung - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Que Phong district said: Continuous heavy rains caused landslides in Que Phong district, causing landslides and rocks to flow down, damaging the houses of some households in Thong Thu and Cam Muon communes.

On the afternoon and evening of September 23, Que Phong district coordinated with other forces to continue to urgently evacuate 26 households (126 people) out of the dangerous landslide area. Of which, Thong Thu commune had 16 households, Tri Le 5 households, Cam Muon 2 households, Hanh Dich 1 household, Quang Phong 2 households.



Mr. Bui Van Hien - Vice Chairman of Que Phong District People's Committee said: Que Phong District is directing localities to continue to inspect and review landslide sites to warn people as well as be ready to mobilize forces and have timely evacuation plans to ensure people's safety.
