(Baonghean.vn) - After recent floods, some serious landslides occurred in Tan Ky town and Ky Son commune in Tan Ky district. The district has urgently evacuated households to safety.

Tan Ky town People's Committee mobilized forces to promptly evacuate 9 households (35 people) to a safe place. Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Head of the Department of Natural Resources of Tan Ky district said: After the flood, Tan Ky district currently has 5 landslides, of which 2 are in Tan Ky town and 3 are in Ky Son commune. For 2 serious landslides in Tan Ky town, the district is drafting a document to ask for the opinion of the Provincial People's Committee on a plan to clear landslide soil, build slopes to prevent landslides, and ensure safety for the people.
