After the father's jealous rage, the two children became orphans.
(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Le Dinh S. stabbed his wife multiple times, then carried a can of gasoline to a neighbor's house and set it on fire. The man left the scene and jumped into the river. His wife died after 1 day of emergency treatment in the hospital.
In 2 days (June 9-10), relatives and neighbors held 2 funerals for Le Dinh S. (born in 1978, residing in Hamlet 4, Trang Son Commune, Do Luong) and his wife. Everything was left as it was, only the obituary board and coffin were replaced. The two children were brought by relatives to their mother's portrait. The older child, now 6 years old, seemed to understand a little of the family's grief, while the younger child (over 3 years old) was still playing around innocently.
“Yesterday afternoon, when I went to my father’s funeral, the boy was still busy playing with his walking stick. Poor boy, he is still so young, he probably doesn’t know that he has lost both his parents and doesn’t know what the future holds,” the maternal aunt sympathized with the two nephews.
Ms. Nguyen Thi L. (born in 1990) - wife of Mr. S.,deathAfter 1 day of emergency treatment at the hospital. On the evening of June 8, this woman was stabbed multiple times by her husband, resulting in serious injuries. After stabbing his wife, Mr. S. took a can of gasoline to a neighbor's house, one house away, poured it on the ground and set it on fire. After committing the crime, he drove his motorbike away from the scene and crashed into a canal. On the morning of June 9, Mr. S.'s body was found and handed over to his family for burial.
Ms. L. is Mr. S.'s third wife. This man's two previous marriages broke up due to childlessness and conflicts in life. Therefore, when Ms. L. gave birth to two sons, Mr. S. was very happy and took good care of the children. He was also considered to be hard-working and daring in business, but his work was not favorable. This man's biggest weakness was jealousy. This is considered the source of today's tragedy.

“Mr. S. is basically a good and responsible man, but he is too jealous, sometimes unreasonably jealous. Ms. L. goes to work as a factory worker, Mr. S. calculates the time to come home, if she is five or seven minutes late, he suspects his wife is seeing another man. One day, Ms. L. comes home a little later than usual, Mr. S. goes to pick her up and they argue. Her husband is insanely jealous, causing trouble unreasonably, Ms. L. argues back and gets beaten,” said Ms. H., who lives in the same neighborhood.
According to Ms. Luong Thi Ngoc - the head of Hamlet 4, Mr. S. and his wife often had conflicts and quarrels. Many times the local authorities met, reconciled, and advised, but Mr. S. refused to change, even though there was no evidence that his wife was having an affair with someone else. Recently, Mr. S. showed signs of depression and often mumbled to himself.
“Before Tet, the couple fought, so Ms. L. went back to her parents’ house. During that time, Mr. S. took care of the two children alone and asked others many times to persuade his wife to come back,” Ms. Ngoc said.
After being advised by her relatives, Ms. L. also agreed to return to restore family happiness. However, Mr. S. only changed for a short time. This time, Mr. S.'s "rival" was Mr. D. (a neighbor one house away). Ms. Nguyen Thi H. - Mr. D.'s wife said: "That day, before Tet, my husband was in the yard, saw Ms. L. sweeping the street, near the neighborhood flower bed, so he reminded L. to clean up the trash on the bed. That's all, but Mr. S. still suspected that my husband and I had feelings for each other. My husband works far away all year round, and only comes home for a few days during Tet, so what could he have done to Ms. L.?" Her husband was jealous for no reason, and she had just experienced the trauma of the house fire, causing Ms. H. to lose sleep for the past two nights.

Ms. Luong Thi Ngoc believes that both Mr. S. and his wife are partly at fault for this painful consequence. While Mr. S. is hot-tempered and jealous, Ms. L. lacks the gentleness and tactfulness required of a wife. On the night of the incident, Mr. S. had a couple of drinks. When she saw her husband threatening her with a knife, Ms. L. did not run away but stood there despite her mother-in-law's advice to leave and her inappropriate words, causing her husband to be upset and rush forward to stab her many times...
This afternoon, Ms. L.’s funeral was also completed. The tragedy of this woman’s life ended in a way that no one wanted. However, where will the future of the two children go when they are orphaned by both parents at such a young age?
