The poignant gala night "Drops of Red from Nghe An"
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of July 24th, the organizing committee of the 2017 "Red Journey" program, in coordination with the Nghe An Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign Committee, organized a cultural and artistic exchange night titled "Drops of Red in Nghe An." The Gala night conveyed the message of fostering compassion in the community and encouraging all citizens to participate in blood donation to save lives and treat patients.

The 2017 Red Journey started from Ca Mau province and headed to Hanoi. This is the fifth year that the campaign to raise public awareness about voluntary blood donation and blood-related diseases has come to Nghe An province.

The Gala Night attracted widespread attention from city leaders, departments, hundreds of youth union members, and 80 volunteers who traveled across Vietnam on the southern leg of the journey. Everyone came to demonstrate their noble spirit and contribute their efforts to promoting voluntary blood donation and saving lives.

During the Gala night, attendees enjoyed many outstanding artistic performances praising the homeland, love and compassion, and the noble act of donating blood to save lives. In addition, there was an opportunity to interact with patients and those actively involved in blood donation.

Hundreds of volunteers participated in this cross-Vietnam journey. In Nghe An, the Red Journey 2017 continued with a festival on the morning of July 25th.
