A poignant tribute night for seriously wounded and disabled soldiers in Nghe An.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs, on the evening of July 19th, in Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province, the Military Arts Troupe of Military Region 4 organized an art performance program to pay tribute to war invalids and sick soldiers being cared for and treated at the Nghe An Provincial Center for War Invalids and Mental Illness.

The Center for War Invalids and Psychiatric Patients of Nghe An Province is a unit responsible for military rear-area policy, managing, caring for, and treating war invalids and sick soldiers who suffered injuries or mental illnesses during combat or service in combat, with a disability rate of 81% or higher, and who have lost their working capacity. This center is for soldiers from the four provinces of Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, and Quang Tri.

The songs and melodies performed during the tribute night recalled the glorious years of the nation, praising the image and contributions of the heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, and sick soldiers in the struggle for national liberation and reunification.

The art program expresses the profound gratitude of the officers and performers of the Military Region's performing arts troupe in particular, and the youth of the Armed Forces of Military Region 4 in general, to the previous generations who sacrificed their lives and blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. It contributes to rekindling pride in their heroic achievements, encouraging the veterans to overcome difficulties, conquer illnesses, and live happily and healthily.
