A profound night of gratitude for the wounded and seriously ill soldiers in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, on the night of July 19, in Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province, the Military Region 4 Art Troupe organized an art performance program to pay tribute to the wounded and sick soldiers who are being cared for and treated at the Nghe An Province Wounded and Psychiatric Center.

The Nghe An provincial center for war invalids and mental health is a unit that performs military rear policy work, manages, cares for and treats war invalids and sick soldiers who were injured during combat, served in combat, suffered mental illness, and have a rate of special injuries, illnesses, and loss of working capacity of 81% or more in the four provinces of Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh and Quang Tri.

The songs and chants of the gratitude night reviewed the heroic years of the nation, praising the images and contributions of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers in the struggle for national liberation and reunification.

The art program expressed the deep gratitude of the officers and actors of the Military Region's Art Troupe in particular, and the youth of Military Region 4 in general, to the previous generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, contributing to arousing pride in their achievements, encouraging them to overcome difficulties, defeat illness, and live happily and healthily./.
