Scholz refuses to supply weapons to Ukraine to attack Russia

According to the head of the German government, Berlin will act in a way that avoids further escalation of the conflict.
"US President Joe Biden has made this issue clear: he said he would not supply weapons but would fire them into Russian territory. I think all other countries must follow this principle. We do not act alone and will always be guided by what our allies are doing," Scholz said.
Earlier, Mr. Scholz said that Germany would continue to supply weapons to Ukraine and reiterated the decision announced by the government earlier to transfer Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, howitzers and Iris-T air defense systems equipped with special radar systems to Kiev.
