According to the Department of Health's report, as of December 31, 2015, the province had put into operation 9 methadone treatment facilities with 1,372 registered patients, 1,198 patients receiving treatment, and 805 patients currently undergoing treatment.

To gradually socialize Methadone treatment throughout the province, establishing a pricing framework and fee structure for services related to opioid addiction treatment using methadone replacement therapy is essential.
