Lightning strikes and burns down three cattle sheds in Thanh Chuong.

During the night, lightning struck and completely destroyed three cattle sheds belonging to a family in Thanh Luong commune (Thanh Chuong district). Local residents are now appealing for help from everyone to assist the affected family.

Hearing the calls for help, several local residents rushed to assist the family in extinguishing the fire. Due to a power outage, the well was unable to pump water, requiring the use of water pipes from neighboring households, making firefighting difficult. Mr. Thai added that upon discovering the fire, he quickly went to open the cow shed to rescue two cows and one pig inside, and pulled out some other valuable items from the shed. Photo: An Nam

Mr. Thai's wife said: On the morning of August 26th, residents of Hamlet 5, Thanh Luong Commune, along with relatives and neighbors, helped the family clean up the aftermath of the fire, collecting ash, broken tiles, and clearing away remaining bamboo and wood. Photo: An Nam

Mr. Nguyen Sy Lam, Vice Chairman of the Thanh Luong Commune People's Committee, said: "I was also present at the scene when the fire occurred.
