Lightning bolts shaped like Tyrannosaurus Rex streak across the American sky.
A weather observer quickly captured an impressive lightning strike that resembled a dinosaur that lived in North America 70 million years ago.

According to Mirror, the intriguing photo was taken by Hallie Larsen, an employee at the U.S. National Park Service, in Blue Mesa, Arizona, and posted on the Department of the Interior's Facebook page on August 17th. The photo quickly went viral, attracting over 12,000 comments. One Facebook user, Phil Kukulski, even superimposed an image of a Tyrannosaurus rex with lightning bolts to illustrate the similarities.
According to the Federation for Atmospheric Research, lightning strikes can take on all shapes and sizes, from circular and ribbon-like to string-like.
