Wind Motion, the yacht of the future capable of being completely self-sufficient in energy, reveals its first concept images,ArchynetyThe project, developed by French designer Mathis Ruhl, is estimated to be worth up to $114 million, the news reported yesterday.
The ship is about the size of a football field and is 70 meters long. It has a swimming pool, a sundeck and modern spa rooms. It can carry 26 people (including 14 crew and 12 tourists) and can travel at a speed of 37 km/h.

Wind Motion is equipped with two rotating masts combined with eight 10m diameter wind turbines. The dual mast design can rotate in multiple directions, allowing the ship to operate well in light wind conditions, while the wind turbines act as chargers, providing energy to the boat's battery system.

“In optimal conditions with an endless supply of food and water, you can stay at sea as long as you want, because the ship is 100% self-sufficient in energy,” Ruhl said.
Wind Motion is one of the latest “green yacht” models that could appear on the market in the near future, but a specific launch date has not yet been announced.
