The stunning Lamborghini Centenario has an exorbitant price tag in China.

In the Chinese market, the Lamborghini Centenario supercar has a starting price of up to 19 million Yuan, equivalent to 2.6 million USD or 61.8 billion VND, due to import tax policies.

Accordingly, in the Chinese market, the Lamborghini Centenario has a starting price of 19 million Yuan, equivalent to 2.6 million USD or 61.8 billion VND. Thus, compared to the car in overseas markets, the Lamborghini Centenario in China is significantly more expensive. In the European market, the Lamborghini Centenario has a starting price of 1.75 million Euros, equivalent to 1.9 million USD or 42.4 billion VND.

The reason the Lamborghini Centenario is so expensive is due to tax policies in China. It is known that in China, imported cars are subject to three different taxes: a 25% import tax, a 17% VAT, and a 0-40% special consumption tax, depending on engine displacement. Imported cars with engines of 4.0 liters or more are subject to a 40% special consumption tax.

However, this engine produces a maximum power of 770 horsepower, allowing the Lamborghini Centenario to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds.

The Lamborghini Centenario accelerates from 0-300 km/h in 23.5 seconds, while reaching a top speed of over 350 km/h. Furthermore, the Lamborghini Centenario can decelerate from 100-0 km/h in just over 30 meters. The distance required to decelerate from 300-0 km/h is 290 meters.

Lamborghini plans to produce only 40 Centenario models, evenly divided between coupe and convertible versions. At the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance in August, the Lamborghini Centenario convertible was officially unveiled with a price tag of $2 million.
